Description

Thick sheet metal protection kit for Renault R4 4L sedan or van F4 or F6* is ideal for RAIDs.
This kit includes:
– 2 towing rings in 5mm thick sheet metal,
– Two-part motor protection plate for quick disassembly (thickness 3mm),
– Tank protection plate.
Made of galvanized or zinc-plated sheet, thickness 3mm, laser cutting.

Homologated Raids, not homologated on open road.

This new version includes some changes, especially to exploit the 4L Billancourt engine in RAID.

Here are the changes made to V1.0:

Cross mounting at the 4L gearbox:
– Space dedicated to the passage of the crank, for fans of the engine Billancourt;)
– Fixing gear box, cage nuts for fixing the lower plate.

4L motor protection plate:
– Hole for gearbox emptying
– Engine drain hole enlarged to improve the passage of tools and to take into account the position of the drain plug of Billancourt,
– Optimization of the line.

4L tank protection plate:
– Arrangement for vehicle mounting with torsion bars,
– Optimization of the line.

*For mounting this kit on F6 vans, the VA46101-F6 adapter must be used.
