This contact set for Renault R4 4L sedan or F4 or F6 van will fit perfectly in place of your old worn or destroyed parts.

The setting is 0.4

For the lighter compatible with this set of contacts, adjustment is made from the inside of it by removing the distributor caps. In opposition to the "external setting" for which part of the contact is connected to a large screw surrounded by a spring passes through the body of the igniter Ducellier to normally perform the adjustment without removing the cover.

Remember, during installation, to lightly grease the cam, because unfortunately, today's platinum screws have a plastic latch and no longer bakelite, as before.

It is advisable to check the status of your contacts at each emptying and to have a game in advance in the glove box, just in case.

Absolutely do not use a transistorized ignition coil !

Bonjour, il faut ouvrir votre allumeur, et regarder la forme de vos vis platinées pour vérifier. Les deux montages ont coexistés, ou en tout cas, on pu être inversés lors d'un changement de pièce à l'époque. A votre service, Martin.
